The painting is about the story of the 19th-century of Flemish painting, which describes the Gent-Terneuzen canal project in the united kingdom of Netherland. I copied the painting after I visited the STAM(Ghent city museum) warehouse collection and cooperated with their researchers to discuss the background details of the image and share information about the canal project until you forget that it is a great painting.
